Layout Tuesday: Spring

Good morning, Paper Crafters. It's certainly another cold and windy day here in Wisconsin, and it has us thinking SPRING! Flowers, pastels, and sheer fabrics. Are you with with us?!For this week's scrapbooking inspiration we photographed a spring themed layout Nicole created using all three elements.

Look at those cuties! They are Kathy's beautiful girls, Helen and Kaitlynn, posing outside our store two years ago. Time sure flies, and we're so happy to have this photo documented.

Nicole pulled together papers and embellishments with soft, spring colors for this layout. We love how nicely they matched with Kaitlynn's shirt. Nicole tore the papers rather than creating a straight line with a paper trimmer. A small amount of Distress Ink was added to the edges.

Next it was time to add a few layers of ribbon, flowers, brads, buttons, rhinestones, and twine. Decorating your layouts with paper and fabric flowers can sometimes add lots of bulk to your album. With this page, Nicole kept it simple and lightly scattered the embellishments around the page.

Too cute! Now it's your turn. Gather together your spring themed items and add some flowers and warmth to your album. Need a few supplies? Creations Galore is here to help with paper, flowers, bling, and more!
