Layout Tuesday... For The Man In Your Life

Thanks for joining us today for Layout Tuesday. Nicole, here, bringing you more scrapbook inspiration. This layout was created with the Cambridge Collection from Bo Bunny. An older paper collection, but perfect for masculine cards and pages.

To keep with the distressed look of the papers, I cut out a piece of paper for the 'found my' in the title and added some Walnut Stain Distress Ink to the edges. I applied the ink directly from the ink pad to get the harsh lines. I then wrote 'found my' with a brown journaling marker.

The background paper, Cambridge Cup, showcases crests, crowns, and banners. Knowing I would be placing strips of two other patterned papers over the background, I cut out one of the crowns. Next, I added some foam risers and placed it over one of the letters, making the piece a fun embellishment. Here's a look at the back of my background paper:

I love the idea of using multiple ribbons to achieve a full, layered bow. For this layout I first laid down a green sheer ribbon and then added a twill over the top. This specific twill from Creative Impressions, You've Captured My Heart, added just the right touch to the theme.

I hope you've found some inspiration today to preserve your memories. Happy Tuesday, friends.

Class Spotlight: Mini Album

Hello crafters! Join us Saturday, February 4th at 10:00 am for a mini album class. Nicole will show you how to take five ordinary lunch bags, the Be Mine Collection from Reminisce, and a few photos, and create an extraordinary album full of memories.

Take a look below at the sample Nicole created. The pictures of Ariel and Geoff are from the talented photographer, Megs Colleen. Head over to her blog or Facebook page and give her some love. Your album could contain pictures of you and your special someone, but don't limit yourself. Take out a few word embellishments such as 'romance' and 'be mine', and you have an album for your children, your best friend, or your new pet.

All materials except for adhesive are included in this class. For more details, visit us here. Don't forget to save your spot! Give us a call at 920-983-0033 or register online.

Layout Tuesdays - Bo Bunny's Etcetera

Hello bloggers! Nicole, here, posting a layout I created with the Etcetera Collection from Bo Bunny. The layout still needs its fill of journaling, but I was excited to share. I am in love with the vintage feel of the papers and embellishments. The pieces from the 12x12 chipboard sticker sheet were used to accent this layout. I wanted to showcase the distressed paper more than over-embellish... and let me tell you, it was hard to do with this collection! I wanted to use every last sticker.

How cute is my friend, Tiffany, in her vintage dress and adorable shoes?!

A ZIG Writer was used to outline the chipboard embellishments to help the letters pop off the page, and the flags were scraps from a previous layout I created with this same collection.

Check out the full Etcetera Collection by Bo Bunny here. Happy Tuesday!

Farmhouse Flirty

Time for more scrapbook inspiration! Nicole, here, sharing a fun layout using paper and embellishments from Crate Paper's Farmhouse and Peppermint Collections.

The orange patterned strip toward the bottom of the layout is actually the piece you cut off the 12x12 designer paper that holds the UPC code. I love finding ways to use every last scrap.

Here's a look at the Farmhouse Collection from Crate Paper, available online and in store. Shop the Peppermint Collection here. Hope you enjoyed today's inspiration. Happy Scrapping!
