Good morning, Paper Crafters! We're so excited to share with you an amazing storage solution for your markers and tools!

Customer Ellen Melendes of Suamico, WI brought this box full of Copic markers and accessories for a one-on-one demonstration with Nicole. The idea is so great, it needed to be shared!

Ellen repourposed a shoe box and toilet paper rolls to create this storage solution. Each roll is decorated with patterned paper in the same color of marker its holding. So creative! Thanks for sharing this project with us today, Ellen!

Layout Tuesday: We Were Here

Good morning, Paper Crafters! Are you ready for another Layout Tuesday? Today we're sharing a layout made by our Creative Genius, Nicole, using the Notable Collection by We R Memory Keepers.

A combination of patterned papers and solid color card cardstocks from the collection were used to create an interesting background. The embossed frame represented this photo from a summer concert perfectly. The top portion of the frame was cut off, no longer making it a tag. It was adhered directly to the background, while the inside portion of the frame was added with foam squares.

Portions of the 12x12 double side paper called Noteworthy were cut apart to create the title and several of the embellishments on the page. They were scattered on the page with a few embossed stickers

Lastly, machine stitching and a small amount of journaling was added to complete the page.

So much fun! Here's a quick look at a few of the supplies from the Notable Collection used in today's layout:

Thanks for stopping by to check out this week's layout. We hope you were inspired!

DIY Easter Treat Bags

Need a last minute idea for Easter? Lori is here today sharing the most adorable treat bags! How cute are these?! Both were created with Paper Cut's Peek-A-Boo Pouches and Re-closable Bags. A few punches and colored cardstock transform them from ordinary bags into fluffy animals!

The bunny was created with scalloped oval and circle punches. A black marker was used to create a few eyelashes, while a white pen brings the eyes to life!

The chick was created with one large scalloped circle punch and a few small circle punches. Rather than cut a triangle by hand, a heart punch added a special touch for the beak. Lastly, a flower punch was cut into three sections to create the chick's comb and two feet.

Just fill up the re-closable bags with your favorite treats, and you've got a set of goodies anyone is sure to enjoy!

DIY Easter: Floral Eggs

Good morning! Today we're excited to share an Easter project with you - Gorgeous floral eggs! How lovely are these? We created them with plastic eggs, making this a decor item you can display over and over again!

Gather your supplies:
  • Plastic or wood eggs (We found a set of 12 white plastic eggs at Walmart for less than $2)
  • Flower punch (The flower we used is from EK Success)
  • Liquid Adhesive (Glossy Accents is our favorite)
  • Pearl Embellishments or Liquid Pearl Pen (Such as our favorite Viva Pens or Liquid Pearls)

Start with your egg base. Leave the eggs as is or add color with dye or paint. We loved the white on white look, leaving the first egg white and using white cardstock flowers. Next, punch out flowers from cardstock or patterned paper. We rounded the flower petals with our fingers for added dimension, but you can choose to leave yours flat.

Start at the top of your egg and adhere each flower with a permanent liquid adhesive. Glossy Accents is our go-to. It's easy to use and dries quickly. Next, add a pearl to the center of each flower. A liquid pearl pen is the easiest and most affordable option. Simply squeeze a small amount of the medium onto the center of each flower. It will dry in under 10 minutes, creating a hard pearl.

Now onto the hard part of this project - Deciding where to display them! Throw them into a bowl or glass hurricane, string them onto an Easter tree, or use them as place cards. So many options for these beautiful floral eggs!
