Creations Galore Gal, Carol Wachholz: Liquid Applique Wreath

Good morning! We're so excited to share a gorgeous card created by Creations Galore customer, Carol Wachholz, with you today. Take a look:

Carol began this card by running a piece of light brown cardstock through a woodgrain embossing folder and adding it to the card base. Next she used Spellbinder dies to create the small oval and layered scalloped oval. After adhering them together and stamping a sentiment, she attached them to the card front with foam risers.

But let's talk about that wreath! The wreath was cut using a Tim Holtz/Sizzix die. She cut the wreath out of green cardstock and the bow from American Crafts glitter paper. Before assembling all of the pieces, she added white Liquid Applique to the wreath. At Creations Galore, we've used Liquid Applique to give the illusion of fur or beer foam, but Carol's use of it as snow truly excites us!

Carol never neglects the inside of her cards. She used the Pine Needles Edge Punch from Martha Stewart Crafts along the top of her insert, layering it with a darker green cardstock. She finishes off the card with a heartwarming sentiment.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful card with us, Carol!
