Layout Tuesday -- Cricut Cuts and Glimmer Mist

Hello bloggers! It's a wonderful day here at Creations Galore. We're bringing you an entertaining page created by Nicole for this week's Layout Tuesday. How much fun do her friends look?!

Nicole started out with a piece of cardstock, originally the light blue color you see in the middle of the page. After spraying a few colors of Glimmer Mist onto a non-stick craft sheet, she dipped and dragged the edges of her cardstock in the Glimmer Mist. This creates the rough, distressed edges that you see in the layout, rather than the paint splatter effect created by spraying the Mist directly onto the paper.

The circles and letters were created from white cardstock using the Cricut Expression. Nicole sprayed blue Glimmer Mist onto the circles and left the letters white to create a neutral resting place for the eyes and tie in the white of the two photos. You can create this same effect with a circle cutter and alphabet stickers. The journaling was added with a White Sakura Gelly Roll Pen and Black ZIG Writer.

Thanks for stopping by today. We hope you've been inspired to add a little shape and color to your next layout!
