We're so happy to spotlight Creations Galore customer, Dory Skenadore. Dory always has a great project to share with us, and today she brings two more!
Dory loves to make cards and was recently on a search for Native American themed stamps and paper. We love how she incorporated her heritage and executed this style so wonderfully into paper crafting!
For the card above, Dory stamped the buffalo image with brown ink and clear embossed over the top. She also inked the edges to create a distressed look.
For her second card, Dory stamped the horse image on two different papers, cut them out, and adhered them to the card front. The patterned horse was attached with foam risers. We love the dimension! Doesn't it look like the horses are about to run off the card?
Dory added some additional elements that we were just blown away with creatively! Rather than tying a bow or simple knot, Dory added beads to the ends of her ribbon! I can't wait to give this idea a try.
The background paper was actually a light blue piece of paper. She then took a patterned stamp and stamped it repeatedly down the cardstock with a darker blue ink. To give the illusion of a rug, she cut the edges of one side and let them fly loose.
Thank you Dory for sharing your cards. We hope you're as inspired by her creations as we were!

Wow! These are wonderful Southwest card ideas. Love the fringe on the blue horses card and the Bison card is magnificent!
